Slow Progress

A new year and not very much progress I am sorry to say. This has to be the slowest webcomic in the world! But I have finally made some time to carry on with the next part of my online comic Lian.

Someone told me recently that there was no rush or deadline as such, which is true. So I am just going to think of it as a work in progress. I am currently drawing up the next panels some keep a look out in the next couple of months.

Lian Webcomic - New Pages added

Hi all, well I am trying to keep to my new routine of adding something new to the webcomic every week. This week I have added some new pages to the story. We see Lian being taken away by Wilbur to a safe location. During the journey, Lian experiences a vision that sheds some light on her situation.

Let me know of any feedback or questions you might have in the meantime. Like I said before, this is a slow process for me so bear with me while I very slowly unfold the story. There is a lot to tell especially since I will be covering 7 new worlds in the process!

For anyone following this, I must apologise if this is a little slow at the moment, as my other commitments make it a little tricky for me to get the pages together. This is quite a slow burner, so I think what I will do is try my best to get 1 or two pages on every week from now on.

I have started updating the Character Page with the first two being Lian and Ousel. I will add more as the webcomic story develops, but it also gives you an idea of the individual comic characters and their backgrounds.

Finally I have now added some new pages for the next chapter. I have been very busy with other things, so apologies for anybody who may be waiting for the next part! 

My plan now will be to add new pages to the chapter every now and then when I am able.

Here is the new cover for chapter 2 of Lian, The Tree Of Life. Sorry for the long wait, as I have been through a process of changing the story and style slightly.

Hopefully, I will be adding pages to the chapter very soon.

New Webcomic Style for Lian

These are some test pieces I did to refine the look of how I want chapter two to be. Like I said in the previous post, I am not too fussed that it may look slightly different to the first chapter. I spent a bit more time on the pencil work this time around and with the colours I have gone for a flatter approach. I will see how it turns out once I have put the next chapter together. Also, the man in the above picture is going to be a new character who along with Durwin the dwarf, will be a crucial part of Lian's journey as a new superhero.

Have a Happy New Year for 2018

Have a Happy New Year! Lian will be continuing her journey in January when I will add more pages to The Tree Of Life Chapter.

Lian Webcomic: New pages added soon.

I hope you have enjoyed the first few pages of the new webcomic so far. Currently, Lian is in training discovering more of her newfound powers with the guidance of her mentor Durwin. Durwin is a dwarf that can shapshift into various forms and has a wealth of experience. He is loyal friend and servant to Aldred, a very wise old man who you will meet soon.

I will be adding more pages to the story sometime in January, where you will discover a few more clues to Lian's background and how she obtained such superhuman strength.
