Slow Progress

A new year and not very much progress I am sorry to say. This has to be the slowest webcomic in the world! But I have finally made some time to carry on with the next part of my online comic Lian.

Someone told me recently that there was no rush or deadline as such, which is true. So I am just going to think of it as a work in progress. I am currently drawing up the next panels some keep a look out in the next couple of months.

Lian Webcomic - New Pages added

Hi all, well I am trying to keep to my new routine of adding something new to the webcomic every week. This week I have added some new pages to the story. We see Lian being taken away by Wilbur to a safe location. During the journey, Lian experiences a vision that sheds some light on her situation.

Let me know of any feedback or questions you might have in the meantime. Like I said before, this is a slow process for me so bear with me while I very slowly unfold the story. There is a lot to tell especially since I will be covering 7 new worlds in the process!

For anyone following this, I must apologise if this is a little slow at the moment, as my other commitments make it a little tricky for me to get the pages together. This is quite a slow burner, so I think what I will do is try my best to get 1 or two pages on every week from now on.

I have started updating the Character Page with the first two being Lian and Ousel. I will add more as the webcomic story develops, but it also gives you an idea of the individual comic characters and their backgrounds.

Have a Happy New Year! Lian will be continuing her journey in January when I will add more pages to The Tree Of Life Chapter.

I hope you have enjoyed the first few pages of the new webcomic so far. Currently, Lian is in training discovering more of her newfound powers with the guidance of her mentor Durwin. Durwin is a dwarf that can shapshift into various forms and has a wealth of experience. He is loyal friend and servant to Aldred, a very wise old man who you will meet soon.

I will be adding more pages to the story sometime in January, where you will discover a few more clues to Lian's background and how she obtained such superhuman strength.

Here is the latest artwork of the cover for the first part of the Webcomic which will hopefully be online by Christmas. It will be called, Lian, The Tree of Life.

Below is a brief synopsis:

"After Lian's parents are presumed missing from a boating trip, she is taken under the wing by her mother's business partner, helping her to run the stables near the coast.

Events take a dramatic turn when Lian lays some flowers near where her parents disappeared, only to discover an unknown object that changes everything. The end result leaving her trapped between two parallel dimensions. 

Join Lian as she embarks on the start of a journey filled with adventure and discovery. However, dark forces are lurking in the background trying to reclaim what they believe to be theirs."

Lian Webcomic work in progress

Welcome to Lian Webcomic. 

Without giving too much away, the webcomic is about a young girl who gets mixed up between two parallel dimensions after accidentally obtaining a power giving her permanent super strength and ability.

As you may have noticed it is still in the early stages at present. I am currently putting together the first part of the comic and hopefully I will have it posted up by the end of December. But for the moment, here a picture of some early sketches I created for the character. The Character references are loosely based off my own daughter, which gave me the inspiration for the idea.
